For people wondering what happened to me with regards to my last post. I'm fine totally fine. no my world has yet to collapse. lol. not to that extend. MX is defeated but not dead yet. haha..

For this week, most units have started. Happy that i have the same thurs lesson with baby. so i get to see him every thurs morning. =) naughty baby not attentive in class.. do things like playing with hair. lol. super adorable pics but he will prob kill me if i post them up here. haha.

yesterday went to support baby for his performance at Chong Pang. Dreamwerkz had their performance there. After that we headed to Settlers cafe at clarke Quay. Had fun playing games and laughing away. =)

dragged myself out of house yesterday despite feeling unwell.. cos haven been spending time with baby for long and after some time where baby finally have almost whole day for me =/

was feeling terrible thru out the day. trembling, flu, cough... =.=

hate getting sicked. and my body is just so vulnerable to viruses. just a night without proper slp and i'm sicked!

so hope we have more time together...

i deleted all the saddish posts.. lets just hope i dun repost within the next 24hours at least....

mx is in the process of learning how to be happy and satisfied with what she has..

Last weekend baby and i went to SHOKUDO at suntec!
For people who nv go there before should give it a try! i always love marche/village, so naturally Shokudo has now become one of my favs. Many varieties to choose from. =)



Ahem... The couple who originally wanted to go to Kushinbo ( having buffet mentality) spent an astonishing amount of $98.63. According to Chun, It's way too scary for two person?



We then went to Swensen's at Esplanade at night.. what's a day without decent dessert? haha.
I Totally Heart Waffles!! This time it's Belgium waffles. yum* i see pink stars lol!!

the other day i went to Beauty World shopping centre while waiting for the bank. lol. Its one of the place i spent my childhood days at k. The place is still pretty much the same esp the candy shop i used to visit. hehe. i came across the book fair they had and bought this!

The famous - Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus.



this book is great i must say! it has amazed me quite a bit just from the first few chapters...

In chapter 2

The most frequently expressed complaint woman have about men is that men don't listen. Either a man completely ignore her when she speaks to him, or he listens for a few beats, assesses what is bothering her and then proudly puts on his Mr. Fix-it cap and offers her a solution to make her feel better. He is confused when she does not appreciate this gesture of love. No matter how many times she tells him that he's not listening, he does not get it and keeps doing the same thing. She wants empathy, but he thinks she wants solutions.

- To Offer a man unsolicited advice is to presume that he doesn't know what to do or that he can't do it on his own.
- However, if he truly does need help, then it is a sign of wisdom to get it. In this case, he will find someone he respects and then talk about it.
- This is the reason why when a woman innocently shares upset feelings or explores out loud the problems of her day, men always mistakenly assumes she is looking for some expert advice.

Life on Venus

-A woman's sense of self is defined thru her feelngs and quality of her reltionships.
-On venus it is a sign of caring to give advice and suggestions.
-Offering advice and constructive criticism is an act of love.
- Many times a woman just wants to share her feelings a bout her day, and her husband, thinking he is helping, interrupts her by offering a steady flow of solutions to her probems.

WRONG eg:
Mary comes hom from an exhausting day. She wants and needs to share her feelings about the day.

Mary: "There is so much to do; I don't have any time for myself."
Tom: "You should quit ur job you don't have o work so hard. find something you like to do."
Mary: "But i like my job. They just expect me to change everything at a moment's notice."
Tom : "Don't listen to them. Just do what you can do."
Mary: "I am! i can't believe i completely forgot to call my anunt today."
Tom: "don't worry, she will understand."
Mary: "Do you know what she is going thru? she needs me."
Tom: "you worry too much, that's why u are unhappy."
Mary: " i am not always unhappy. can't you just listen to me?"
Tom: "I am listening"
Mary: " why do i even bother?"

CORRECT EG:
Tom had no idea what just listening with empathy to Mary express her feelings would bring her tremendous relief and fulfillment. When Tom Hears about Venusians and how much they needed to talk, he gradually learned how to listen.

Mary: "Theres is so much to do. I have no time for me."
Tom takes a deep breath, relaxes on the exhale, and says, " Humph, sounds like you had a hard day."
Mary: "They expect me to change everything at a moment's notice. i don't know what to do."
Tom pauses and hen says: "Hmmm."
Mary: " I even forgot to call my Aunt"
Tom: " Oh No."
Mary: " She needs me so much right now. I feel so bad."
Tom :" You are such a loving person. Come here, let me give you a hug."
Tom gives Mary a hug and she relaxes in his arms aith a big sigh of relief.

A woman greatly appreciates Mr. Fix-it. as long as he doesn't come out when she is upset. Men need to remember that when women seem upset and talk about her problems is not the time to offer solutions; instead she needs to be heard, and gradually she will feel better on her own. She does not need to be fixed.

So Now you know why the gals are unhappy! +)

Last saturday baby and i went to GV's super sneaks at Fort canning Park! It was a totally different feeling to watch movies- open field on the grass (with mats. duh)
